FlowCut is an editing-automation panel for Adobe Premiere Pro. Pick a video and it cuts out the parts where nobody is talking, adds bouncy captions with key words in color, drops in sound effects, matches the color, and builds a 9:16 vertical sequence for Shorts — automatically. It can even find the best moments of a long video for you.

Key features

• Auto silence cut — Analyzes the speech, cuts out the pauses and builds a new, gap-free sequence.
• Auto captions & translation — Places short-form style captions on your timeline and saves an SRT file too. Japanese, Korean, English and Chinese videos can get English or Korean captions.
• Bouncy captions (new in 1.2) — Each caption pops onto the screen, and important words (reactions, numbers, "really ___") are highlighted in color. Click any word to turn its highlight on or off.
• Auto sound effects (new in 1.2) — Whooshes on cut changes, boings on questions, dings on numbers and more, matched to the voice level. A royalty-free starter pack is included, and you can add your own sounds.
• Auto color (new in 1.2) — Balances brightness, color temperature and contrast from your footage and adds a look (Natural, Bright, Warm, Cinematic, Film) as a LUT file.
• Highlight picks (new in 1.2) — Finds the 3 sections with the strongest hook, lets you preview each one right in the panel, and turns your pick into a Shorts sequence. It can copy the hook to the very start as a teaser.
• Auto 9:16 for Shorts — Creates a 1080×1920 vertical sequence that follows the speaker.
• Runs on your own PC — Nothing is sent to an outside server. No subscription, no API key.

Requirements

• Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit) — Mac is not supported yet
• Adobe Premiere Pro 2022 or later (tested with 2022 and 2025)
• 16 GB RAM recommended · about 4 GB of free disk space
• A dedicated graphics card (NVIDIA · AMD) is recommended (it also works without one)

Good to know

• The panel is in English and Korean — switch anytime in Settings.
• The first time you use captions or translation, FlowCut downloads its AI models once (about 2.4–3 GB). After that it works offline. Silence cut, sound effects, color and highlight picks need no download.
• The color correction is saved as a LUT file; you apply it in one step with Lumetri Color → Creative → Look (the manual shows how).
• Because this is a digital product, we can't offer refunds for a change of mind once it has been downloaded.
